Det blev lidt melodramatisk indledt. Her er historien. Jeg vandt Yamamoto CA-04-forforstærkeren på eBay UK. Ordren gik igennem deres
"I’m reaching out to you regarding Global Shipping Order: 03-11347-XXXX ‘Yamamoto CA-04 preamplifier Line level tube’ sold to buyer: xxxxx.
This order has been received at the UK GSP Shipping Centre however, it cannot be forwarded to your buyer in Denmark. Our third party
shipping partner notified us that the shipment contains amp tube(s) possibly manufactured pre-70s. In that era most lamps & tubes had
mercury reflectors. Detailed specs not available.
In absence of clear data ruling out the risk, item has been rated UN3506, Mercury contained in manufactured article. Class 8, Corrosive &
Toxic. Restricted to all countries.
The usual process when this occurs is eBay refund your buyer in full, and you retain the original payment from the transaction. The item itself
would be liquidated by a third party.
However, this item seems to be unique and is of high value and as an exception to our usual process, if you would prefer, we can have the item
returned to you. If you choose this option, you will be responsible for refunding your buyer or organising shipping to them direct.
Please reply to this email within the next 72 hours to let us know which option you would like to proceed with:
1. A refund is issued, the item liquidated.
2. Item returned, you then issue refund or ship directly to buyer.
If no response received, we would instruct the Shipping Centre to processed with option 1, and you and your buyer will be updated via an
automated email. Hope to hear from you soon. Please remove Global Shipping from this item on eBay."
