Hi all. Pls excuse the post being in English, but my Danish is no way good enough for this subject.
Currently, I have a 5.1 setup at home, with a Yamaha 775 amp, pre-outs for the front speakers to an Audiolab 6000a - which I
also use for 2 channel streaming.
I used to run MA bronze BR5s on this an it was awesome; I gave in though and bought some B&O BEOLAB 18s to please the wife
- they ‘look great’.... trouble is, they are of course self-powered, which means that the current amp setup is rather too much.

Now we get to the question - if I got say an ARCAM AVR390 and used this single amp, how can I connect the B&O speakers to
the pre-outs of this amp, and still maintain an overall volume control from the Arcam amp, as I understand that the pre-outs are
line-level.

Hi Simon...... and welcome to the Danish forum H4A

It´actually pretty easy, since the Arcam has RCA-"pre-out" and the Beolab 18`s have RCA-"line-in".
Just connect them as shown in picture 6d in the manual-link

SHOULD be....
Must say that these speakers look great but they see, to lack the soundstage of the MAs - hoping that a better AVR and DIRAC
rather than the Yama Audyssey for adjustment might make a difference....now I just have to find an ARCAM 390 at a decent
price :)
